The Nathanson Lab focuses on malignant gliomas, some of the most lethal of all cancers. Using a suite of tools, including innovative molecularly characterized patient-derived orthotopic glioma xenografts (PDOX), molecular imaging (e.g., PET imaging), and nanotechnology for interrogating single cells, our lab has a specific interest in investigating the dynamic interplay between specific David Nathanson is an Associate Professor in the Ahmanson Translational Imaging Division (ATID) in the Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology at UCLA. Dr. Nathanson received his B.S. from Willamette University and his Ph.D in Molecular and Medical Pharmacology under Dr. Paul Mischel at UCLA. The UCLA Nathanson Family Resilience Center bridges the gap between research and practice to Mogil is a licensed clinical psychologist and Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior in the David Geffen School of Medicine. In addition to her work at the UCLA CARES Center, Dr. Mogil serves as the Director of Training and Intervention Development for the Nathanson Family Resilience Center and the UCLA Division of Population Behavioral Health. The Nathanson Family Resilience Center (NFRC) integrates research, practice and technology to provide an array of resilience building programs for military and veteran families facing transitions and other challenges.
